Unlearning Intergenerational Imposter Syndrome
February 2023
For this event, I partnered with the New York University Latinx Alumni Network to facilitate a two-hour virtual event on overcoming intergenerational imposter syndrome in the Latinx community. As part of the event, I shared insights/research on where imposter syndrome trauma originates for the Latinx community and how to overcome it using Parts Work. The event also included a meditation and a Parts Work demo as tools to process imposter syndrome.
Overcoming Imposter Syndrome In The Latina Community

I partnered with the Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley to facilitate a 3-hour in-person, Overcoming Imposter Syndrome In The Latina Community event for 30 Latina Activists – who are part of their Engaged Latina Leadership Activist (ELLA) program. I shared insights/ research on where imposter syndrome trauma originates for Latinas, how it impacts us, and how to overcome it. The event also included a live Parts Work demo as well as, movement, writing, and meditation exercises to help the participants begin to process impostor syndrome.
